Madhuri loves Guzaarish

Recently Madhuri Dixit watched the film Guzaarish and called the director of film Mr Sanjay Lila Bhansali and said that she watched his new release Guzaarish and she loved it every minute of the film. Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai are in the lead role of this new release Guzaarish. The director Bhansali look into the life of a paraplegic and knock down with a another serious issue – euthenasia.

Movie doesnt do any great at the box office. Along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan had a shot as the role of Chandramukhi in Devdas in 2002 which is also directed by Sanjay Lila Bhansali. The 48 year old director says that he had to wait for two and half years during the film Khamoshi and ask her to read the script but couldnt get any success to get Madhuri in the film. The same instance was repeated during the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and then after Bhansali get success in Devdas when Madhuri was there in the film. Bhansali praised Bollywood actress Madhuri he said that she is such a great and natural artist and she lights up the performance.

In the show which is aired in 29 of this month on Sony Entertainment Channel Bhansali is going to judge this show along with playback singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal.The director states that judging and directing both is difficult and different in their own way. Judging is more difficult as cameras follow you round the clock and people would see him on television. When he direct films nobody is following him. So one is at ease and is comfortable.”

The major reason behind these results are high price of Aishwarya Rai and she is really very busy with her movies and Madhuri has accept the price rate of Dance Premier League, but the channel head said that he don’t want to talk about price and all, there are many other reasons why Ash has not accepted the contact.

Aishwarya has many Bollywood and South Indian movies, and she don’t want to leave those movies.

Madhuri Dixit is far more affordable and hence she was chosen over apricey Aishwarya Rai to judge a dance reality show.

It was a battle between two very popular actresses, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in which the former has emerged a winner. Madhuri has joined several Bollywood stars to judge the reality show, Dance Premier League like Shaimak Davar and Kareena kapoor.

Madhuri and Aishwarya were both being considered to be the judge for one of the teams. Aishwarya lost out to Madhuri as she quoted an exorbitant amount of money that the makers of the show couldn’t afford.

Madhuri’s manager Riku Rakesh Nath has revealed no details though.

However, Danish Khan, VP Marketing of the channel admitted, “Yes, Madhuri has been chosen to represent one of the teams.”

Madhuri with Kareena, not Aishwairya on TV Show

Well sometime back we heard of Aishwairya rai Bachchan accompanying Madhuri on a TV show but now things have taken a turn and if all goes well, Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor would come together for the first time, on a reality dance show Dance Premier League.

Kareena Kapoor is all set to wear the judge’s hat on Dance Premier League’s Delhi auditions and will be in the Capital next week for the same. Production company Cineyug has approached several Bollywood names for the same and now it seems that Kareena’s name is final.

Interestingly, dance divas Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were also approached but Aishwarya Rai declined the offer due to date issues. Madhuri is keen to judge the show and has almost confirmed she would be there.

Sara Khan and Eijaz Khan have been finalized as the hosts and dance guru Shiamak Davar will play the taskmaster and set up the difficulty levels for participants.

While Kareena Kapoor has given her assent and would be there in the Capital next week for the show, Madhuri has almost confirmed her presence.

A TV channel is trying to rope in the Bollywood glamour girls and dancing queen’s Madhuri and Aishwarya to judge a reality dance show. While reality shows are a craze on TV, Madhuri and Aishwarya would prove even deadly combo for a TV show. The two have won million’s of hearts for their in-sync and scintillating dance number Dola Re in Devdas. Madhuri has not been in the limelight for some time now and Ash is busy with her film shooting. The two beauties that have blazed the silver screen with ‘Dola Re’ from ‘Devdas’ will be seen in an altogether different role. It is known that both the ladies have given their nod to judge the show. If Ash has to manage time from her hectic schedule then Madhuri will have a tough time commuting between USA and Mumbai. Yet it will be a great fun to see the two glamorous ladies judging a reality show. The detail about the show is not yet known except that it will be judged by Madhuri and Aishwarya. We hope, they create the same magic for the TV channel, as they created for Sanjay Leela Bhanshali’s Devdas.

An ode to Madhuri

Not long back, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, had captivated the minds and hearts of the audiences with their dance number Dola Re Dola in Devdas.

Choreographed by Saroj Khan, the number had brought much appreciation and awards form all. And now, Genelia and Prachi Desai will both be seen putting their best dance feet forward for a similar track in Life Partner that also stars Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Govinda.

Titled Gunje Angana Mein Shehnayi, incidentally, this track too has been choreographed by the veteran Saroj. The song has an uncanny resemblance to the song from Devdas. And though very much different
from each other, the chemistry between Genelia and Prachi will undoubtedly revive memories of Ash and Madhuri in Devdas grooving on Dola Re song..

It’s almost like an ode to them. Now whether Genelia and Prachi will recreate the same magic on screen as the sensuous ladies from Devdas, only time may tell.
