In between clangor of laughter, actress Madhuri Dixit once discussed films and marital ecstasy. Lets have a look what she said. After coming to India to host the reality show called Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Madhuri is waiting for an exciting script and wants to work with Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan once again. The actress is indeed looking for better roles to play. But at the same time, the actress also becomes cautious when it comes to her family.Madhuri Dixit now trys to be in India and in U.S. as well. So for the past few months she was staying in Mumbai, busy hosting shows and endorsing several products. Now the dancing queen is back to U.S. enjoying with her husband and two naughty sons.

Earlier when Devdas happened, she was being approached to do the role and the actress gave her nod finding the script apt.When asked that if her husband Dr Nene has watched any of her films she candidly answered, none. Madhuri showed him the songs of Pukar. And he’s seen small portion of Gaja Gamini. Gaja Gamini, being a very theoretical film. With Pukar, it was a song routine, and her hubby was not used to seeing songs in movies out there. So for him, it was like, why do films have songs. So she had to remind him of the Hollywood musicals and tell him that Bollywood still make musicals.

What Madhuri said about her Padma Shri award

In the year 2008, the beautiful Indian actress Madhuri Dixit had received the Padma Shri award for her unique contribution to the world of Indian cinema. This is the 4th highest civilian award given by the government of India. When Madhuri was later asked to comment upon this achievement of her, she replied in a very calm and cool manner that hard work and true dedication never go waste. She further said that Padma Shri award was the result of her efforts and hard work that she did with full honesty and determination.

Madhuri Dixit also said that it is always a very unique experience when someone is honoured. After all, such honours come as an achievement to you after the hard work of many years, added the actress. Madhuri’s view on Devdas

We all are well aware of Madhuri Dixit’s Bollywood career. She is a successful Indian actress who has got a numerous super hit movies like Tezaab, Beta, Raja, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Dil, Parinda, Devdas etc. The movie Devdas is special in Madhuri’s career because in this movie Madhuri reappeared on the silver screen after a long time.

Madhuri’s love for dance

Despite an adroit actress, Madhuri Dixit is remembered for her dance too. “For me it is not just about shaking my hands and feet or moving to a rhythm. It just comes from my soul. It’s a very spiritual thing for me whether it is a Western number or an Indian one”, says actress Madhuri Dixit.

Her famous dance numbers for bollywood films had been Ek Do Teen (from Tezaab), Bada Dukh Deenha (from Ram Lakhan), Dhak Dhak (from Beta), Chane Ke Khet Mein (from Anjaam), Choli Ke Peechhe (from Khalnayak), Akhiyan Milaun (from Raja), Piya Ghar Aya (from Yaarana), Key Sera (from Pukar), Maar Daala (from Devdas) etc.

For Madhuri’s dance choreographer extraordinaire Saroj Khan says, “Madhuri is a kind of dancer who looks fantastic no matter what she does and how she moves! She puts her heart and soul in her dancing. Out of the many actors who I have choreographed, she is the only one with whom I can experiment. I have given her so many weird dance steps but she still did it with ease!”

We miss you Madhuri

I expected highly from one of my favourite actress Madhuri Dixit as judge of DPL but her circumstances didn’t favour her and the things could not work out. This gave me a feeling of the halcyon days of her life when she was at the top.

I still remember the days when the Dhak Dhak girl was Dhadkan of all. Her superhit movie ‘Beta’ and the song dhak dhak karne laga had made her the heartthrob of all fans. Her movie ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ was simply amazing. Her dress in the song didi tera devar deewana was the new fad of market. But my favourite Madhuri movie is ‘Devdas’ in which her role as Chandramukhi is unforgettable. The grace she has carried over the years is beyond words. I look forward to more from her.

In her upcoming flick is ’36-24-36′ with co-actress as Jaya Bachchan and direction by Meghna Gulzar. Other details however are not available.

One of Madhuri’s most critically-acclaimed performances came with this powerful 1997 Prakash Jha product.In a dark and socially relevant film about women’s rights, she infuses her character Phoolva with overwhelming vitality.

Khalnayak
The controversial Choli ke peechche song remains this 1993 Subhash Ghai film’s highlight, but there was much more to it than that.Starring opposite Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri played Ganga, a policewoman masquerading as a dancing girl in her attempt at entrapment. A gripping ride.

Devdas
It’s safe to say that Dixit was the finest thing in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s excessive 2002 adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s classic novel.Miscast in a film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, she played Chandramukhi the courtesan with delicate fragility.

A TV channel is trying to rope in the Bollywood glamour girls and dancing queen’s Madhuri and Aishwarya to judge a reality dance show. While reality shows are a craze on TV, Madhuri and Aishwarya would prove even deadly combo for a TV show. The two have won million’s of hearts for their in-sync and scintillating dance number Dola Re in Devdas. Madhuri has not been in the limelight for some time now and Ash is busy with her film shooting. The two beauties that have blazed the silver screen with ‘Dola Re’ from ‘Devdas’ will be seen in an altogether different role. It is known that both the ladies have given their nod to judge the show. If Ash has to manage time from her hectic schedule then Madhuri will have a tough time commuting between USA and Mumbai. Yet it will be a great fun to see the two glamorous ladies judging a reality show. The detail about the show is not yet known except that it will be judged by Madhuri and Aishwarya. We hope, they create the same magic for the TV channel, as they created for Sanjay Leela Bhanshali’s Devdas.
