Mad wants to act with Sallu and SRK

Bollywood’s most elegant and popular face Madhuri Dixit has a note for all the filmmakers. The actress actually wants to revive the on-screen magic with her favourite co-stars Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Madhuri Dixit’s chemistry with both Salman and Shahrukh Khan has been demonstrated in various Bollywood movies, appearing with Salman Khan in Saajan and the most unforgettable Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, and with Shahrukh Khan in Anjaam, Dil To Pagal Hai, Koyla, Gaja Gamini, and Devdas which was her last film.

Madhuri Dixit Nene upholds close friendship with both Khans, she honestly accepts that Salman Khan is worthy of the success he has achieved today and it makes her feel great to see both Salman and Shahrukh keep up good work doing serious and romantic movies till now with beautiful babes of Bollywood. Madhuri Dixit also said that she is quite known of the growing attractiveness of Salman these days. The actress have seen his recent movies like Dabangg and Ready. She asserted that her children had just loved the way Salman performed. Salman deserves all the love of his fans currently as he’s working hard. And if in future Madhuri come across any film opposite Sallu, she would surely do it. And one shouldn’t forget that there is also Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam in which all three celebrities shared the bg-screen together.

Now, Madhuri Dixit would like to re-establish the magic once again. So, all the directors out there, what are you all waitinf for? Send Madhuri scripts that she can portray in with Salman and Shahrukh, romantic genre of-course, no side roles please for this dancing diva. Madhuri Dixit’s special urge for filmmakers stated that it wil be awesome to work with Salman and Shahrukh once again or three of them in one movie. Madhuri’s Zor Ka Zatka on Shahrukh

She is a prominent actress of the bollywood, she is a dance diva, she is gorgeous, she none other than Madhuri Dixit. The admirable actress is busy in judging the contestants on a famous dance reality show ‘Zhalak Dikhla Jaa’ which telecast on Sony. Well,it has been known by all of us that Shahrukh Khan is hosting the another reality show ‘Zor Ka Zatka- Total Wipeout’ on NDTV Imagine, but there is a much hyped war on these reality show are running.

According to the TRPs of King Khan’s latest show Zor Ka Zatka, Madhuri’s show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa has excellently taken the lead. Shahrukh Khan’s new show which is based on water has receiving the ratings of 2.6 TVR. Well, in comparison Madhuri’s show Zalak Dikhlaa Jaa in which she is the prime attraction is opened to 5.6 TVR around four weeks ago. If we look to the openings of TRP for other shows hosted by other Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan in KBC season 4 and Salman Khan in Big Boss 4 left far behind Shahrukh Khan’s show.

The Big Boss 4 saw the TRPs of 3.6 on the very first day and Big B’s KBC 4 opened with 5.4 TRP. Well, there is one more Bollywood star whose show has started with low TRP, Akshay Kumar‘s Masterchef India, his foodie contest has opened to a 2.6 TRP in October last year.

Madhuri-SRK together

Nearly after a decade when all of us last saw them together in Devdas, Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit are going to shake a leg together again this time at the Filmfare Awards as reported. Madhuri Dixit even tweeted, “Best of luck to everyone who have tests/ exams!Busy rehearsing for my performance with Shahrukh in Filmfare.

Madhuri to endrose food channel

Bollywood’s ace actress Madhuri Dixit has reportedly been chosen as the brand ambassador for chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s food channel, titled Food Food. The actress as per the reports is expected to announce her association with the brand at a press meet. At the time of going to press, her contract was still being worked around.

When Madhuri’s manager and spokesperson was contacted he confirmed the news asserting that Madhuri’s deal hasn’t been officially accepted. Meanwhile, co-owner and celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor sounded happy enough at the enquiry but refused to comment and he just told that he can’t comment on her association with his channel.

But the famous chef would really feel great if Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and even Sachin Tendulkar get associated with his channel. So, we have to wait until any official announcement will be made. Since Madhuri Dixit Nene has stepped in the public eye, her image has changed several times over.

Last Wednesday on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, the mesmerizing beauty Madhuri Dixit and the handsome hunk Shahrukh Khan had a terrific meeting of sorts at Filmistan. The moment Shahrukh Khan saw Madhuri on the sets of a dance reality show, he walked up to her, hugged her tightly and kissed her hand.

As Madhuri Dixit Nene blushed and turned away, Mallika Arora Khan, SRK’s friend, rushed to meet him too. It so happened that Shahrukh was in Filmistan to shoot for his forthcoming project RA.One.

When SRK saw the name of the actress pasted on the vanity van hecouldn’t stop himself and ran to the venue, where the dance diva was shooting. The cameras were rolling at that time when King Khan entered the sets and walked up to greet Madhuri, what else we can say, however, Dil toh pagal hai!!!

Amazingly the three khans will also join each other in the movie.Big B is known to be an icon. Big B may also play the role of ‘Bhishma’ in Ravi Chopra’s film version of “Mahabharata”. Ravi Chopra is all set to make a film version of Mahabharata under his home production banner B.R Films. The television version of Mahabharata was also launched by B.R Films and went onto become extremely popular worldwide. The buzz in the industry is that Ravi wants Amitabh to play the role of ‘Bhishma’ and Rani Mukherjee to play the role of ‘Draupadi’ in his film version of Mahabharata. This six hour movie which will be the longest film in the history of Bollywood. But Chopra is quick to clarify this aspect saying that he will release it in two parts-part one on one Friday and the second part on the other one. Chopra intends to work on both films simultaneously and has allotted a budget of Rs.150 crores for both the parts together. The film version will also have a lot more glamour and first class special effects.

This 1989 Subhash Ghai entertainer saw Madhuri opposite his favorite co-star Anil Kapoor, re-inforcing one of the most enduring screen pairs to date. She was the demure grocer’s daughter; he, the corrupt cop with an agenda all his own. A full-blooded masala superhit that’s still great fun to watch.

One of Madhuri’s most critically-acclaimed performances came with this powerful 1997 Prakash Jha product.In a dark and socially relevant film about women’s rights, she infuses her character Phoolva with overwhelming vitality.

Khalnayak
The controversial Choli ke peechche song remains this 1993 Subhash Ghai film’s highlight, but there was much more to it than that.Starring opposite Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri played Ganga, a policewoman masquerading as a dancing girl in her attempt at entrapment. A gripping ride.

Devdas
It’s safe to say that Dixit was the finest thing in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s excessive 2002 adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s classic novel.Miscast in a film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, she played Chandramukhi the courtesan with delicate fragility.

Lake on name of Madhuri Dixit

The major attraction of the place called Twang is the Tawang monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India; an all-women monastery and Madhuri waterfalls, named after the Bollywood actress who came here on a film shoot. Her film Koyla was shot in this place.

This is also the route that the Chinese soldiers took in 1962 to enter Indian territory. Today known as “the hidden paradise” or “the land of dawn-lit mountains”, Tawang is the place if one is looking for a heavenly tryst with nature and a heady mix of history, religion, legends – and now ofcourse for Madhuri Dixit.

Located high in the mountain ranges of Himalayas, at 3,500 metres above sea level, Tawang is a treat for nature lovers and presents images of virgin mountain forests, exquisite gompas, quaint villages and tranquil lakes.

Complementing the scenic journey is the destination. The Jang waterfalls, locally known as Madhuri falls, are worth a watch. Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit shot for her film “Koyla” here, a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rakesh Roshan.

Though China still claims Tawang is within its territory, the area is peaceful and is not affected by insurgency.

Despite increasing flow of tourists to Arunachal Pradesh, Tawang remains largely unexplored and poor roads can make the journey a really long one. Tourists also need to plan in advance, as inner line permits are needed to visit some areas in and around Tawang.

Madhuri SRK rocked in Koyla

Koyla, a 1997 film starring SRK & Madhuri is indeed a personal favourite and well made film for several reasons. Even otherwise, any movie starring Shahrukh Khan,Madhuri Dixit and Amrish Puri is bound to be highly entertaining.

Without sounding cliched, it is still evident that Koyla has everything you’d expect from a great movie (particularly a Bollywood romance/action movie)-a superb story,adventure,comedy,over-the-top action,a great romance and some wonderful song and dance numbers. Though some sequences really go unbeleivable but then this is what typical bollywood masala flicks are like. The songs are also subtitled so the meaning and relevance of each can be fully understood and some of them are just serenely beautiful.

Shahrukh Khan played the wounded and loveable hero better than anybody else and always with such tremendous gusto.

And then there’s Madhuri Dixit,a damn fine actress who excudes a natural charm and beauty in any film she’s in.I love the strong willed characters she’s played in the past and her role as Gauri is no exception. Madhuri is also one of the few actresses who can Really dance and in Koyla she dances like the wind!

Amrish Puri played the Raj (a village Zamindar) with skin-crawling relish.Those eyes!Yeesh.

The supporting cast is great with Johnny Lever throwing in his usual slapstick comedy which can sometimes be irritating, while Deepshikha’s performance was a stand-out.
Kudos must also be given to Rakesh Roshan who co-wrote and directed the film, keeping it engaging all the way through to the end.

The downside to Koyla is perhaps the gratuitous violence (which some could argue is perfectly acceptable in an action film),the shabby special effects and the dodgy fight scenes where you can clearly see the actors are’nt even coming into contact with each other. The editing’s not so hot either.

Koyla only did moderately well at the box office when it premiered back in 1997, but for me it was an instant hit for fans of Madhuri and SRK.

All round, it was not that bad!!!
